VINTAGES WATCHES YOU WILL WANT TO HAVE

How cool is it to have a classic James Bond look on your wrist? The older watch brands behind them constantly review their own archives to give their older, more successful models a renewed splendor.

Retro is everything, even luxury in general. It recognizes the great legacy that Christian Dior left to Rolex. There is a lot of sentimentality there, a recovery from times when no mobile phone has given you time. Before, high-end watches were not works of art or a status marker like today, they were instruments that put you in time, that allowed you to guide yourself throughout the day.

This revival has been in vogue for a long time, but while there were occasional collector releases years ago, reissues are now a mainstay of manufacturers' collections.

Most brands center their reissues in the 1950s and 1960s, although the 1970s was also rich in bold and memorable designs. Good design is timeless, as evidenced by these five vintage watches released in 2021 with a look to the 20th century. They are this.

Zenith Chronomaster Revival A385

The A385 was one of the first three Zenith watches to feature the manufacture's famous El Primero caliber in 1969, a high-frequency automatic chronograph. With a 37mm tonneau-style steel case and a patinated smoked brown dial, this new model replicates the innovative.

The only differences are the hemispherical sapphire crystal (as a substitute of acrylic glass) and the translucent case back (instead of the padlocked solid steel case back), which allows the El Primero 400 movement to be seen.
